about performing in a new environment.
Performing what is learnt in class on stage is an important element of our dance training at Caper. Scroll below to see the exciting events and experiences we had in 2024! These events not only hone dance skills and boost confidence, they become cherished memories that enrich the lives of students.
Sydney Opera
House
We were invited to perform at a cultural event at the Sydney Opera House featuring song, choir, music and dance performances. Our students will remember the experience of performing to a large crowd at the Opera House forever. We had such a good time having dinner together at Wahlburger's and hanging out in the dressing room.

Bonnie Lythgoe's
Snow White
Pantomime
Our students were invited to perform as the opening act for Bonnie Lythgoe's pantomime of Snow White. In addition to the thrill of performing in a professional setting, the students were given tickets to watch the show together in the audience after the performance. We finished off an a high as the students joined the cast back on stage for the finale and curtain call.
The Sydney Chocolate Ball
The Sydney Chocolate Ball is a globally acclaimed black tie gala supporting medical research for Muscular Dystrophy. The event attracted over 550 guests including high-profile personalities, prominent Australian companies and local celebrities, creating a very special experience. Our students performed alongside professional entertainers and were treated to lots of chocolate!
The Dream Dance Company Industry Night
The studio version of Marko Panzic's "Industry Night" is held at UNSW The Roundhouse Theatre in an exciting evening of dance from students around Sydney. As the director of The Dream Dance Company and professional dancer and choreographer, Marko has created an environment where the professionals of tomorrow can benefit from industry experience.
The Orange Blossom Festival
The much-loved Orange Blossom Festival is the largest annual event in The Hills and involves the Parade at Rouse Hill Town Centre and a show on the Main Stage. We love being part of community events and enjoying the festival-type atmosphere and perform to our local community.
RHTC Christmas
Parade
This is the jolliest performance of the year! To celebrate the arrival of Santa to Rouse Hill Town Centre, our students perform in the parade and Christmas show. Each year a new festive performance is choreographed to much-loved Christmas music. You can tell by the smiles on our dancers faces how much they love bringing the joy of the season to the stage.
Sydney Royal
Easter Show
Since 2011 our students have been proudly performing at the Sydney Royal Easter Show. We perform a showcase of routines at the Big Top Amphitheatre and the Caper Kids have the opportunity to spend the rest of the day at the show with their family and friends.
Kidz Fest - The Entertainment
Quarter
The Entertainment Quarter in Moore Park is wonderful performance space that our students love amongst the carnival rides, shops and dining options. We have been fortunate to perform multiple shows a day involving many of our Caper kids
Annual
Concert
Each year we hold an Annual Concert (participation optional). We make the concert a special experience for all our students through providing a theme, rewards for all students and no dress rehearsals.
